Starting virtual equity is typically €100,000 for CFD and crypto CFD accounts, and €1,000,000 for futures or cash‑instruments accounts. Leverage guidance: up to 30:1 for major forex pairs, up to 20:1 for commodities and indices, 5:1 for US stocks and ETFs, 1:1 for crypto CFDs. The cash account has no leverage.

How the track record is built

1. Subscribe monthly, annually, or for 3 years.
2. Trade virtually under live market conditions on MT4 or MT5.
3. Complete calibration: 25 risk‑equivalent trading decisions over at least 15 trading days. There is a 90‑day time limit for inactivity, but actively trading traders can take longer.
4. Your DARWIN is created the following Monday and automatically enters DarwinIA SILVER.
5. Keep trading. Earn seed allocations, purchase a permanent allocation, add Boosters, and collect performance fees.

The DARWIN and the Risk Engine

A DARWIN replicates your signals with independent risk management so all DARWINs have a comparable target risk band. The Risk Engine targets a monthly Value‑at‑Risk between 3.25 percent and 6.5 percent, dynamically adjusting position sizes and, if needed, trimming risk while trades are open. It also enforces D‑Leverage thresholds that tighten with trade duration. Because risk is standardized at the DARWIN level, DARWIN returns can differ from the underlying signal account.

Return, drawdown, and VaR are calculated and displayed transparently. Quotes update every 30 seconds and start at 100 at inception.

Funding programs

DarwinIA SILVER

• Eligibility after calibration, active subscription, minimal recent trading activity, and correlation checks.
• Minimum rating of 75 guarantees an allocation. The rating blends current month return, last five months plus current month return, and drawdown over the same window, with the 5‑month composite being the largest component.
• Allocations last 3 months. You can stack up to three concurrent SILVER allocations if you qualify three months in a row.

DarwinIA GOLD

• Opens the door to investor capital and larger seed allocations.
• You need more than 8 months of signal history and to meet performance thresholds such as 1‑year return above 20 percent with a return‑to‑drawdown ratio above 2.5, with similar criteria over 2 to 5 years.
• Rankings are based on current month return for allocation. Allocations last 6 months.
• Once a DARWIN gains access to investor capital via GOLD, that investor access remains even if you later move back to SILVER.

Permanent Allocations

You can secure a permanent €100,000 virtual allocation after calibration and DARWIN creation. Two ways to get it:

• Instant, no target: price $1,500
• Target‑based options: 5 percent target $800, 10 percent $425, 15 percent $285, 20 percent $205

Alternatively, the 3‑year subscription includes the €100,000 permanent allocation for free once your DARWIN achieves a 15 percent return. Performance fees on permanent allocations are paid at 15 percent using a High‑Water Mark, typically quarterly. A restart cancels the entitlement.

Boosters

Boosters are instant, time‑limited virtual capital injections that stack alongside permanent allocations and DarwinIA.

• Sizes: €25,000, €50,000, €100,000, €200,000
• Durations: 3, 6, or 12 months
• One Booster purchase per month, up to €400,000 combined Booster capital. Together with a permanent allocation, your total virtual capital from these features can reach €500,000.
• You earn 15 percent of profits generated during the Booster period. Each Booster has its own High‑Water Mark.
• Indicative euro pricing: 3 months roughly €125 at 25k up to €930 at 200k, with higher tiers for 6 and 12 months. Dollar prices vary.

Boosters are useful for scaling quickly around market opportunities while you build longer‑term backing.

Performance fees and High‑Water Mark

Darwinex Zero pays 15 percent performance fees on profits generated by seed, permanent, booster, and investor allocations. The default is quarterly HWM by DARWIN, starting from the first allocation date. A monthly HWM option is available for an extra fee and can be activated on new or existing accounts. DarwinIA allocations include a reset mechanism that can cap recognized loss at 5 percent when overlapping allocations occur or fully reset after all allocations expire at a loss, improving the chance to resume performance fee accrual sooner.

Investor capital and INDX

When your DARWIN qualifies for GOLD, it becomes investable by third parties on the Darwinex platform. You continue to earn 15 percent performance fees on investor profits on a quarterly HWM. Investor sources include independent investors, Darwinex’s own proprietary allocations, and the Darwinex Index (INDX), an actively managed portfolio of high‑conviction DARWINs from Darwinex and Darwinex Zero. If INDX invests in your DARWIN, it appears like any other investor and pays the same 15 percent performance fee.

Migrating to Darwinex

If you later prefer to trade live funds rather than pay a subscription, you can migrate an eligible CFD DARWIN to Darwinex. You must open and fund a Darwinex account with at least 1,000 in EUR, USD, or GBP, meet basic performance or allocation criteria, and close positions for the weekend migration. The full track record and any active allocations carry over, and investor access opens automatically if previously closed. Because account balances differ post‑migration, you may need to adjust trade sizes to maintain leverage consistency, which Zero helps model during the process.
