Trade Ideas has launched a direct API integration with TradeStation, connecting its real-time AI-powered stock scanning platform to TradeStation’s self-clearing brokerage execution environment within a single, unified workspace.
Announced on March 27, 2026, the integration allows active equity traders to identify setups using Trade Ideas’ proprietary AI scanning technology and execute trades through TradeStation without switching platforms, re-entering tickers, or losing time to workflow friction.

Unified Scan-to-Execution Workflow
Traders can spot a signal in Trade Ideas and submit an order through TradeStation from the same window. Position management and P&L monitoring are handled entirely within Trade Ideas via the Brokerage Plus module.
Live and Paper Trading Support
The TradeStation connection supports both live account trading and paper trading. New users are advised to test the paper trading connection first before going live, with no difference in the workflow between the two modes.
No Need to Keep TradeStation Open
Once the browser-based authentication is complete, the TradeStation account syncs automatically inside Trade Ideas. Portfolio data, positions, and P&L are visible directly within the platform without requiring TradeStation to remain open.
Holly AI Signal Integration
Premium subscribers can combine TradeStation execution with Holly AI signals, Trade Ideas’ proprietary first-generation artificial intelligence that identifies high-probability setups in real time across every stock and ETF tick.
Advanced Order Entry Panel
Version 5.8.1 introduces a dedicated order entry panel accessible from within the Brokerage Plus positions tab and from charts. The panel includes a Time and Sales view for more precise order placement.

How to Connect TradeStation to Trade Ideas
Step 1: Open Brokerage Plus
In Trade Ideas, navigate to the Toolbar, open the New Tab, and select Brokerage Plus. Alternatively, click the Brokerage Plus Live or Brokerage Plus Sim button in the Toolbar.
Step 2: Select TradeStation and Connect
Click the Brokers Tab in the upper left of the Brokerage Plus window. Select TradeStation Paper or TradeStation Live from the dropdown and click Connect. This opens the TradeStation login page in your default browser.
Step 3: Log In and Sync
Enter your TradeStation username and password and click Login. Once authenticated, the connection is established and your portfolio syncs automatically inside Trade Ideas.
